What makes it distinctive

Sure Thing was founded by two friends, a wedding photographer and the owner of the pop-up wedding company Flora Pop, and it shows: the two chapels are dressed in vintage furniture, the neighborhood's old neon and mid-century buildings are used as photo backdrops, and packages are sold as timed blocks of chapel time with photobooth strips thrown in. The pink chapel at 1110 Fremont offers Surely the Showgirl, Elvis, Hellvis and burlesque; the blue Sure Thing Too at 1104 Fremont adds Lucky the Clown and Juggling Boylesque, plus a Wurlitzer piano. Dogs and other well-behaved animals are welcome.

Who it suits

Book here if your idea of Vegas is East Fremont rather than the Strip, you want a photographer-designed room, and you are bringing your own photographer, which costs nothing extra. It is small and it is fast: base packages give you 30 minutes of chapel time and 15 to 20 guests, with 60-minute packages and a $500 add-on taking the pink chapel to its 43-person maximum. Note that all bookings are made online, so this is not a walk-in chapel, and the prices are shown with a plus sign; the officiant fee, taxes and deposit terms are not published, so get the total in writing.

The Drive Thru package at $888 and up adds 15 minutes of classic-car photos; The Whole Shebang at $999 and up gives 60 minutes, four photobooth strips and up to 25 guests; Wedding and a Show at $1,444 and up requires a performer; Lady Luck at $3,333 and up adds deluxe florals and cannot be downgraded once booked. Photography and outside photographers

The FAQ answers the question directly: outside photographers are allowed at no extra cost, and the venue says it is the only chapel in Las Vegas that does not charge for them, a claim we did not verify city-wide. Photobooth strips are included, one with 30-minute packages and four with 60-minute packages, and the chapel keeps a referral list of photographers. Professional ceremony photos are not itemized in the packages. Guest phone rules are not published, and the chapel cannot stage a first look for a down-the-aisle entrance.

Accessibility, weather and permits

  • All bookings are made online through the chapel's scheduling calendar; the site does not describe walk-in service
  • Wheelchair access is not published. Contact the venue for current details.
  • Both chapels are indoors, so weather is not a factor
  • Pets are welcome, which is rare among Las Vegas chapels
  • Hours are listed as open every day without published times
